Midland Academy Counseling Mission Statement:
The Midland Academy Counseling Program will implement a comprehensive counseling program for PK-5th grade that is designed to help students develop educational and social emotional skills as well as career knowledge in order to become successful individuals.
Direct Services will include:
- Classroom Guidance Lessons
- Individual Counseling
- Small Group Counseling
Counseling Program will cover topics such as:
- Introduction (Meet the Counselor) which will include the counselor explaining her role
- Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS)
- Anti-Bullying
- Character Word of the Month
- Red Ribbon Week
- Social Emotional Lessons
- Career Awareness
- Child Lures
